Celebrate the classics quiz

It’s time to celebrate the classics! And to celebrate properly, we  want to challenge your knowledge of classic literature with our fun quiz. Search your mind, your shelves and your preferred search engine for the 26 answers, each of which starts with a letter from A to Z and compete with other avid readers for prizes of a classic nature.

Please list your answers in the contact form below, from A to Z, and submit the form by 9am, Thursday 15 May 2014.

Rules of play are listed at the bottom of this post – but, remember, the main aim is to have some fun.

Answers might be a title, an author, a characters, a play, or something else related to the classic.

  1. The competition can be entered by handing in a completed form at a Gold Coast branch library, or online at book coasters.
  2. Competition entries must be submitted by 9am, Thursday 15 May 2014.
  3. Employees of City Libraries are not eligible to win prizes.
  4. Only one entry per person is eligible for the prize draw.
  5. Competition entries will not be returned.
  6. Prize winners will be chosen at random from all completed and correct entries.
  7. Prize winners will be announced on book coasters on Tuesday, 20 May 2014 and will be contacted by phone and email.
