Glitterville’s handmade christmas : a glittered guide for whimsical crafting!

Glitterville’s handmade christmas : a glittered guide for whimsical crafting by Stephen Brown.

For those who just can’t wait to get into the holiday spirit and make this Christmas something really special, this lovely new craft book is just what you need! Filled with beautiful photographs and step-by-step instructions to make your efforts fun and foolproof, this book will help you transform your home into a true winter wonderland.

There are 21 projects for you to choose from, including a Pinecone Gnome, a Glitter Village, Ginger Cookie Kids, Confectionery Cone of Candy, Nutty as a Fruitcake Party Hat, Glitter Pixies and a Jolly Dolly Holly Wreath.

One of my favourites is the Coconut Flake Cake, partly because the fluffy white frosting covered in coconut around the outside and decorated with lovely coloured balls, silver dragees, red jaffas, and various gumballs, looks like festive snow…and partly because it is simple enough for even me to do easily, especially if I did not include the cute little ball faces which sit on the top!

Some of the crafts do require  equipment such as a hot glue gun, wire cutters, a hole punch, or access to a photocopier. This may limit your options if you do not have these to hand.

With only a few more months to get organised, there is no better time to get in the spirit and make a start on your Christmas.

The author, Stephen Brown, found himself in post-holiday doldrums after the big celebrations in each year. He found that preparing awesome crafts for the next big event turned the low feelings around to pleasurable anticipation. He is now a craft expert and media personality and can be seen on stage and screen. His first book in the Glitterville series was Glitterville’s Handmade Halloween, but he has also done books for birthdays, parties and everyday.
